Well then. First post.

I probably should have done this a long time ago, but the thing is I’ve got some very important (read: boring) forms to fill in, and just getting this far has been quite an effective form of procrastination already. I suspect I will remain a blogger all the time there are things which I should be doing, whether that’s informing tax credits of a change in circumstance, cleaning the kitchen floor, or being generally attentive wife and at least pretending to watch films we’ve paid to rent…

Anyhow, last week I informed my (ex)employer that I shall not be returning to work after my maternity leave, for reasons which are both too numerous, and frankly, too obvious to state here, and I now need to give my portfolio a good once (twice and probably three times) over. Looking through what I’ve already done seemed like a logical place to start recording what I do, and didn’t in any way allow me to put off the arduous task of organising my numerous projects chronologically and by discipline. Not in any way at all.

I think I’ll start in the middle and work chaotically out in all directions at once until I tire of doing it altogether.
Accordingly… This is a print I designed from a series, graphic alphabet birds this is ‘M is for Morning Mr Magpie’ (I really am starting in the middle!) there’s more where he came from, not a whole alphabets worth, but at least half a dozen, which I will post up… In time!
